Admission & Selection Preferences
Mainland Gaokao applicants apply through the online application system: admission to the School of Business and Management is by broad discipline (no subject requirement), while admission to the School of Engineering requires Physics among the elective subjects. In provinces without the arts/science stream split, applicants must have taken at least one of Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences/Biology as required by the programme. Some programmes serve as mutually adjustable choices, and students may apply for a self-designed interdisciplinary major after enrolment. Arts and science backgrounds may both apply alongside the science subject requirements — subject to official announcements.
